Tor Browser - a free anonymous browsing tool


Tor Browser allows you to privately browse online without tracking, surveillance, or censorship. Tor itself is free and open-source software for enabling anonymous communication by directing Internet traffic through a free, worldwide, volunteer overlay network consisting of more than seven thousand relays in order to conceal a user's location and usage from anyone conducting network surveillance or traffic analysis.


How to get this tool

To use this tool, please use a method listed below.

In a Linux (Debian OS), run the following command(s).

sudo apt install tor

sudo apt install torbrowser-launcher

If you are using Ubuntu, make sure that you have the Universe repository enabled.

sudo add-apt-repository universe && sudo apt update

Once you have that, you can install the Tor browser launcher:

sudo apt install torbrowser-launcher
