Overview

Hachoir is a Python library to view and edit a binary stream as tree of fields and tools for metadata extraction.

 

How to get this tool

To use this tool, please use a method listed below.

In a Linux (Debian OS), run the following command(s).

python3 -m pip install -U hachoir

 

To use hachoir-urwid, you will also need to install urwid library:

python3 -m pip install -U urwid

 

To use hachoir-wx, you will also need to install wxPython:

python3 -m pip install -U wxPython
