In a Linux (Debian OS), run the following command(s).

Installing rpcapd on Unix:

Download developer's pack of winpcap from www.winpcap.org

and unzip it. Change current directory to libpcap and perfom the following commands

 

autoconf

./configure

make

cd rpcapd

$ake

 

To start daemon run the following

./rpcapd -n

 

Download and unzip the package for Linux after installing rpcapd
